I serve on my organization's Broader Leadership Team, participating in monthly discussions on organizational priorities and management-level decision making.

I guide my organization's overall digital direction — deciding how we use digital tools and platforms to advance our mission and reach more people.
Communications Strategy
I shape communications strategy at both the departmental and organizational level, helping determine how we talk about our work and reach existing and new audiences.
Process & Operations
I'm part of a team that works to improve internal processes, with the goal of making things easier and more efficient for staff and external stakeholders.
Fundraising Strategy
I serve on the Aligned Giving team, helping connect donors and prospects with interest areas that match organizational priorities.

I developed and manage our intern program, and actively build capacity among fellow staff.
About
About Me
I am Tom Zeleznock, a digital leader and strategist based in Greater Hartford, Connecticut. I build websites, apps and other digital products to help organizations use technology to solve real-world problems.
Most of my career has been spent working with nonprofits, foundations, arts and other mission-driven organizations. I care about making useful things with clear purpose.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities like skiing and hiking, music, and most importantly, spending time with my kids.
Now
What I'm up to now
I just wrapped up a few major project launches in late 2025 and I'm already into the next phase — adding upgrades, making improvements, and responding to real-world user feedback. I'm also in the early stages of some new digital projects, including a digital annual report and an immersive audio experience. On top of that, I'm spending a lot of time exploring AI and how it can be used in positive ways to benefit organizations and individuals — without losing the humanity.
